Dhanush as Kutty

Dhanush is on a high. His last few films -- Yaradi Nee Mohini with Nayanthara (remake of Selvaraghavan's Telugu hit Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule), Polladhavan with Divya Spandana (an adaptation of Bicycle Thieves) and Padikathavan with Tamannah -- were commercial successes.
Now, he is back with another hot actress, Shriya Saran in the Tamil film Kutty, a remake of Allu Arjun's Arya. Kutty is directed by Mithran R Jawahar who earlier directed Dhanush in Yaradi Nee Mohini. Devi Sri Prasad, who composed the music for the original, is also the man behind Kutty's music.
Incidentally, there's another Kutty in Tamil -- an offbeat serious film by Janaki Viswanathan. Other than a few international awards, the film won child artist Shweta a national award, and also the director a Special Jury award. Anyway, Dhanuh's Kutty will be a total commercial film unlike Janaki's.
